What is FO2U Phase 1?
FO2U Phase 1 is the early manufacturer onboarding and Malaysia market validation stage.
Phase 1 focuses on onboarding selected manufacturers and brands from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines to test and validate suitable products in the Malaysia market before larger distribution, inventory or expansion plans.
Consumer-facing product listings and full marketplace features will be launched progressively.

As part of Phase 1 review, FO2U may review product category, documentation, HS code / product classification and import suitability where applicable, to better understand fulfilment, compliance and market entry requirements.
Phase 1 Proposed Commercial Model
FO2U Phase 1 follows a success-based model. The manufacturer sets the base price they receive, and the system adds 12% on top of it to determine the Customer Product Price — the manufacturer’s price is never reduced.

Delivery and cross-border logistics are calculated separately and shown at checkout before the customer confirms payment. The 12% is not calculated on logistics, taxes or duties.
Customer-paid and varies by shipment — e.g. RM20.00 of delivery makes the total customer payment RM132.00.
The 3% fulfilment share
- Allocated to the party performing approved fulfilment — the 3% goes to whoever does the work.
- If the manufacturer fulfils the order directly, it receives this 3% in addition to its base price.
No upfront cost

FO2U platform service fee (9%)
Allocated to FO2U for platform, market-access and order-management services. Deducted only upon successful completed customer orders.
Final commercial terms are subject to product category, fulfilment arrangement, compliance review and final onboarding agreement.
